Our linen is pre-shrunk and specially treated for color retention to help minimize shrinkage and color transfer. When cared for according to these instructions, only minimal shrinkage and color transfer may occur, including after the first wash.
Machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Some color fading or bleeding may occur, especially during the first few washes, so washing with similar colors is recommended.
Tumble dry low and remove promptly, or air dry according to the care label.

Our linen is made from 100% European flax, grown in Europe and woven by makers in LINTICO's owned factories. Linen is more sustainable and less resource-intensive to grow than cotton. This is exactly the skirt I was looking for—a linen A-line style. I wasn’t initially drawn to the dark navy color, and I wasn’t completely sure about the price either. Still, I was impressed by how feminine and flawless it looks. I can’t wait for them to release this design in other colors.
I had planned to wear it during the hot August weather while visiting churches in Rome and the Vatican, and the length is perfect for that. I do wish it came in a lighter shade, but the flattering design completely won me over, so I’ll be packing it anyway. I’m really looking forward to future color releases.
And as always, the linen quality at Lintico is superb. I’ve bought linen from other stores, but the thickness and craftsmanship simply don’t compare. I sometimes hesitate at the prices, but once the pieces arrive and I feel the fabric, all those concerns disappear.
