The rounded collar gives this knit personality, but it still looks restrained with black trousers. I especially like the clean line created by the short placket and the subtle V-shaped seam beneath it.

My usual L leaves comfortable room through the body, while the shoulders still look tidy. The small side slits help the hem settle over trousers instead of catching when I sit down.

I wore this for a full office day with straight navy trousers and loafers. The mushroom shade looked soft in morning light and slightly deeper indoors, which made it more interesting than a flat grey. The collar stayed neat under my trench, and the knit had enough substance to look composed after hours at a desk. By dinner I added earrings, changed nothing else, and still felt properly dressed.

I hesitated over the collar because that shape can sometimes look too youthful. Here it is low, softly rounded, and balanced by the straight body and long sleeves. Nothing bunched at the collar, and the side slits kept the hip area easy throughout the day.

I am fuller through the middle and chose XL. It gives me breathing room without turning the top into a box, and the hem falls cleanly to the hip. After several hours of sitting, the sleeves and body still looked smooth rather than tired. I also appreciate that the collar creates a finished neckline with no need for a scarf or necklace. For a simple neutral knit, it has a surprising amount of character.

Mushroom grey is elegant and useful, and the top works beautifully as it is. My four stars are only a wish for the same collar, button detail, and relaxed shape in a deep forest green. I would gladly own both.

Customer service asked whether I planned to layer underneath and whether I preferred a straighter or closer fit. Their suggestion to stay with L gave me easy movement without losing the clean shoulder line.

The website showed the color in several lighting conditions, so I expected a warm grey rather than silver. That is exactly what arrived, and the collar shape matched the close views too.
