How Jodie Styles Linen for the Arizona Heat
Four breathable looks, honest fit notes, and a colorful approach to dressing for real heat.
Linen, lived in
A colorful point of view on natural linen
After living through more than a few Arizona summers, style creator Jodie Filogomo knows that dressing for heat is about more than wearing less. Breathable fabric, easy movement, and protection from the sun all matter.
We invited Jodie to spend real time in four Lintico pieces—a maxi dress, asymmetrical pants, a linen shirt, and a tailored vest—and style them in the bright, individual way her readers know her for.
“I want items that have interesting details, and Lintico made that happen.”— Jodie Filogomo, Jodie’s Touch of Style
Four pieces, her way
Designed for movement. Styled with personality.
Jodie chose pieces with shape, color, and thoughtful details—then made each one work for everyday life.
100% medium-weight linen
The Hooded Maxi Dress
Long sleeves can make sense in serious heat: coverage helps keep direct sun off the skin, while linen allows air to move. Jodie wore the dress loose for ease, then added a belt when she wanted more definition.
The hood, pockets, and relaxed silhouette give the dress personality without making it feel overworked.

The Orchid Linen Top
A simple shirt earns its place through fabric and versatility. Jodie’s orchid-colored version brings the focus toward the face, while the sculpted collar adds quiet character.
It can be tucked or left loose, layered under the vest, and worn with the sleeves full length or secured at three-quarter length using the button tabs.

The Tailored Vest
The vest adds shape without heaviness and polish without stiffness. Its longer coverage made it useful as both a finishing layer and a top in its own right.
Over the maxi dress it changes the proportion; with trousers it creates an easy, modern column.
The honest notes
What Jodie noticed after wearing—and washing—the pieces
Jodie found the pieces slightly generous. Always check the measurements on the current product page before choosing your size.
She washed the pieces before photographing them and noticed only a small, not overly visible change.
For the photographs she ironed the looks; day to day, she prefers a quick steam and embraces linen’s natural texture.
The featured pieces include both 100% linen and linen–lyocell blends. See each product page for its exact composition.
