Bulky sweaters often hide my shape completely, but this top keeps warmth and definition in balance. I wore it with high-waisted black trousers and low boots, letting the diagonal line do all the styling. The V opening keeps the upper half from feeling heavy, and the side gathering releases into a smooth flare instead of adding volume everywhere. Taupe melange has enough depth to sit beside black without looking washed out. It became an easy office outfit immediately.

I carry more fullness at my waist and usually avoid peplum shapes, yet the asymmetry here is surprisingly forgiving. My regular M gives ease across the bust, then the knit follows rather than grips before opening at the side. The hem finishes above the widest part of my hips, which keeps the proportion light. A long pendant echoes the V shape nicely, although the seam detail is strong enough that the top also works without jewelry.

The current version already succeeds: the neckline is clean, the waist line feels artful, and the side flare moves without stiffness. Another earthy shade would simply make it possible to rotate the shape more often during the cooler season.

I told customer service where I wanted the top to finish, and they used that detail when suggesting L. That's much more useful than a stock answer. The shoulders are comfortable and the diagonal flare lands where it should over trousers.
