Care, made more personal.
Linen
Natural, breathable, and beautifully relaxed. Thoughtful care helps it soften with time.
- Wash
- Cold or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Dry
- Air dry or tumble dry on low; reshape while slightly damp.
- Steam & press
- Steam for relaxed texture or iron inside out at medium heat.
- Store
- Store completely dry in a cool, breathable place.
Avoid: High heat, bleach, optical brighteners, and overloading the machine.
Wool
Warm, resilient, and sensitive to heat and agitation.
- Wash
- Use cold water and a wool cycle or gentle hand wash when the label allows.
- Dry
- Never wring. Reshape and dry flat away from direct heat.
- Steam & press
- Steam from a short distance; avoid pressing the surface.
- Store
- Fold knitwear and use breathable storage between wears.
Avoid: Hot water, strong agitation, wet hanging, and high heat.
Cashmere
Exceptionally soft fibers need low friction, cool water, and patience.
- Wash
- Hand wash in cold water with a cashmere or delicate detergent.
- Dry
- Press out water gently and lay flat on a clean towel to dry.
- Steam & press
- Steam lightly; use a soft depiller only when the garment is dry.
- Store
- Fold rather than hang, and store clean in a breathable bag.
Avoid: Hot water, wringing, hangers, and harsh fabric softeners.
Soft Blends
Blended fibers balance comfort and performance, but the most delicate fiber sets the pace.
- Wash
- Follow the label and choose the gentlest suitable cycle.
- Dry
- Use low heat only when permitted; air dry structured pieces.
- Steam & press
- Use the lowest safe temperature for the blend and press inside out.
- Store
- Keep folded or use a supportive hanger, depending on the garment’s shape.
Avoid: Assuming one fiber rule fits all; check the blend and finish first.
Silk & Velvet
Lustrous surfaces benefit from minimal friction, gentle handling, and shade.
- Wash
- Spot clean first; wash only when the label permits, using cold water.
- Dry
- Do not wring or expose to strong sun. Let dry naturally in shade.
- Steam & press
- Press silk inside out at low heat; brush velvet gently in the direction of the pile
- Store
- Use breathable storage and avoid compressing the velvet surface.
Avoid: Rubbing, bleach, high heat, direct sun, and crushing the pile.
Everyday answers
When your wardrobe needs a little help.
How can I reduce wrinkles?
Steam while the garment is slightly damp, reshape it with your hands, and let it air dry. Use the care-label temperature when ironing.
What should I do with a fresh stain?
Blot rather than rub, use cool water, and spot-test a small amount of mild detergent on an unseen area first.
How should I store knitwear?
Make sure it is completely dry, fold it rather than hanging it, and keep it in a cool, breathable space.
