The contrast at the neckline and hem reads like a real underlayer, but nothing shifts or bunches. I get the dimension I wanted without adjusting two separate tops all day.

The knit has substance and stretch, so it feels smooth rather than clingy. My usual XL leaves enough ease at the waist while the V opening keeps the upper half light.

I don't have to decide which layer works underneath because the contrast is already built in. Dark denim or cream trousers both make sense, and the chestnut color handles black shoes too.
