Our linen is pre-shrunk and specially treated for color retention to help minimize shrinkage and color transfer. When cared for according to these instructions, only minimal shrinkage and color transfer may occur, including after the first wash.
Machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Some color fading or bleeding may occur, especially during the first few washes, so washing with similar colors is recommended.
Tumble dry low and remove promptly, or air dry according to the care label.
Iron on low heat if needed. For a smoother finish, turn the garment inside out and use low to medium heat or steam, as permitted by the care label.
Do not use chlorine bleach. Use a non-chlorine, oxygen-based bleach only if permitted by the care label. To help prevent discoloration, avoid prolonged contact with sweat, deodorants, antiperspirants, perfumes, or skincare products.

Our linen is made from 100% European flax, grown in Europe and woven by makers in LINTICO's owned factories. Linen is more sustainable and less resource-intensive to grow than cotton. I purchased this dress specifically for the fabric composition, and I am pleased to report that the linen is of substantial weight and quality. It breathes well but feels structured enough for public outings. The oatmeal-beige color is exactly as pictured, a very neutral earth tone. Regarding the fit, I followed the size chart and the S fits true to size; the inverted pleats provide a nice amount of room in the hip area without looking baggy, making it very comfortable for sitting on a picnic blanket. The pockets are deep and functional. The only reason I'm withholding a 5th star is that the raw-edged fringe trim on the sleeves had a few loose threads that I had to snip off upon arrival. Otherwise, it is a well-made garment

Such a good find. The linen dress is soft, not scratchy, and it actually drapes really well instead of sticking to you. Wore it all day at home and felt so put-together. It definitely wrinkles, but that's just the natural linen look. Super comfy and fits the relaxed vibe perfectly.
